WSSA Expo Volunteers Needed
Posted09/12/18 at 08:58 PM

Ray Bergstresser received this announcement from the Washington State Snowmobile Association (WSSA) Expo and Volunteer Coordinator.  Let Ray know if you are interested volunteering.  It would be money for the club: time4snow@comcast.net.

Attention Club Presidents,

It’s that time of year again when we start thinking about snow. But before we can get on the snow we need to get to the EXPO on October 20th and 21st and enjoy all the wonderful new toys and gear that is available for the new season. One of the most important things at the show is all the wonderful volunteers that we have every year. And, yes, with the volunteers from your club comes income to help host all the events that you have planned for the upcoming season.  When one of your members volunteers, he/she earns $8.00 per hour for your club. What a great way to see the show, be part of the EXPO, and help your club all at the same time. So get the word out to your members that I am looking for some help again this year. Your Club dues must be current in order to have members participate.

Just a reminder that by volunteering for a minimum of two (2) two-hour shifts (totaling 4 hours or more), a volunteer will receive free entrance to Expo for the entire weekend.  Each two-hour shift may be worked on separate days.  In order to improve efficiencies, this year’s volunteers working 4 or more hours will be given a wrist band upon check-in.  Please note: you are not eligible for door prize drawings unless you purchase an entrance ticket and place it into the drawing bucket.

Attached is Volunteer Information and sign-up sheets for any club
member interested in helping make the 2018 Expo another outstanding success in support of our sport.  If you would like a copy of the sign-up sheet as an Excel spreadsheet so you can fill it out and email it back, please email me at snowexpovolunteer@gmail.com or visit the WSSA website to download it.

Please return the sign-up sheets to me either by fax at 1-253-922-9551 or
email at snowexpovolunteer@gmail.com by October 5th.  If you have any questions, please call/text me at (253) 380-4906 or email me at the above address.

Thanks
Mike Eveler
WSSA Expo Volunteer Coordinator
