Washington State Snowmobile Expo
Posted on 05/11/18 at 09:55 AM
The last show of the year is at the Washington State Snowmobile Association’s (WSSA) 26th and our 19th year event at this event. Bring your sleds and memorabilia, snowmobile suits, patches, banners, and helmets to display. The Expo has a lot of vendors, and a huge swap meet, and classes. It is hard to believe but while walking around last year’s event while we, we found vintage snowmobiles and parts are still available. What a great chance to get locally that hard to find part.

Early Season Shake Down Event
Posted on 08/15/18 at 03:12 PM
We have set a date for our First Ridding Event of the 2019 Season! This has become an annual event. Depending on snow we will meet either at Greg Byrd's property, or Tim Halvorson's. Last year it was at Tim's. It was a great day. Weather, and snow cooperated for a wonderful time.
We will have our barbeque there again. The club will be buying our lunch!
This year there might be a grudge match between Stephen Phillip's new aqusition old ; a 1968 Ski-doo Alpine with the 370 cc double, and Kevin Hancock's 1968 Ski-Daddler Wide Track 22 with the MAG 540 cc engine. They could square off to see which one is the slowest and heaviest. You do not want to miss that!
Keep an eye open for updates as the time drawn nearer. Let Ray Bergstresser know if you are planning to attend: firstname.lastname@example.org; (509) 466-6249.

Lolo Winterfest 2019
Posted on 07/31/18 at 08:06 PM
A group of us were discussing going to the Lolo Winterfest (Montana) next January, 2019.
Now that the dates were announced we are firming up our plans:
- On Saturday January 19, 2019 they will have a fun day, and vintage snowmobile show and several fun events,
- Sunday the 20th there will be a 16-mile vintage snowmobile ride. The picture has a link that announcement for the Winterfest 2018 event. It describes what we can expect for this years event:
We have room reservations at the Lolo Hot Springs Lodge. This is where the event is being
held last year, and there are natural HOT SPRINGS to soak in! There are still rooms available.
But move fst now that the dates are announced they could go fast:
Finally some of us are thinking of staying longer to enjoy the local trail system and play areas with
our modern, also known as 'Nice Sleds". There are snowmobile rentals for you die-hard vintage
snowmobile riders who need a modern ride. It is a trail and play area, so a later machine can keep up
the trails are also welcome:
